Christy Liu

Born in 2007

I am a digital photographer raised in Queens, New York. I attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of the Arts as a visual arts major where I tampered around different art mediums. Then, I joined a photography class for two years where I built my skills with both analog and digital cameras. Since then, my works have been showcased in The Metropolitan Museum of the Arts, School of Visual Arts, Manhattan Arts Borough Festival, and more. I’ve also been hired by artists and event hosts to do things from documenting their occasion & performing artists, to getting commissioned for personal editorial photoshoots. I typically work within fashion, documentary portraiture, and editorial, exploring themes of femininity, nostalgia, solitude, and identity. I hope to continue this artistic expression and expand my knowledge of photography at Fordham University as a visual arts and psychology major, intersecting the routes between the two.
